In an ongoing process that has involved thousands of interviews with students, faculty, staff and administrators, guiding principles for campus growth have been shaped and various scenarios envisioned.
The university community is invited to a public discussion of what UGA will look like as it grows to accommodatean eventual enrollment of 35,000 students over the next several years. Three public presentations will be held Thursday, Nov. 12. Story and schedule of presentations.

University architect Danny Sniff has been closely involved with development of the university’s new Physical Master Plan since assuming his current position in January 1997. Sniff talked with Columns about the development of the plan, which will guide physical growth of the campus to accommodate eventual enrollment of 35,000 students with associated faculty and staff.


New associate
vice president named

Loretta F. Harper, who has held top human resource positions at two large state universities, has been chosen to be the new associate vice president for human resources at the University of Georgia.




Timing’ is everything
The second production of the University Theatre season will be All in the Timing, David Ives’s collection of six short pieces, opening in the Cellar Theater Nov. 11.
