In numerous large and small meetings Nov. 11 and 12, the university community--and the community beyond the university--was invited to respond to a preliminary version of the physical master plan for UGA for the coming decades.

Latest campus master plan is not the first

You can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’ve been. So when it was time to draft a physical master plan to accommodate expected enrollment growth over the next five to 10 years, planners first took a look at how the campus had developed to date.

The site for UGA's new alumni and development center will be marked with a ceremony Nov. 28 at 9 a.m. in the pavilion at Lake Herrick.




Making beautiful music together

Professor
's new book examines behavior from African-American perspective

Letha A. (Lee) See has concentrated her research in the area of international issues, particularly the plight of foreign-born refugees in the United States. But as editor of a new book, Human Behavior in the Social Environment from an African American Perspective, See is concentrating on issues closer to home.

This week on campus
The University will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving holiday but there are still plenty of things to do on campus.
