Female volunteers needed
The department of foods and nutrition is conducting a study to see if nutrition supplements will reduce bone loss in postmenopausal women.
Volunteers are needed who are at least 50 years old, have been post-menopausal for at least three years and have not taken estrogen therapy or other bone-affecting drugs (such as Fosamax) in the past year.
Volunteers will receive free bone mineral density measurements, blood tests and a diet analysis. Call 542-4838 for more information.

Campus graphic designers
Designers on campus are invited to join an informal lunch discussion group. The organizers plan a monthly meeting to share tips and techniques. To add your name to the list of invitees for the first meeting, contact Janet Beckley (542-8170; jbeckley@arches.uga.edu).

Master Swim Club
The Master Swim Club sponsored by the department of recreational sports offers beginner, intermediate and competitive workouts for anyone interested in fitness swimming.
The group is meeting now through April 30, from 12:20 to 1:20 p.m. weekdays in the 50-meter pool at the Ramsey Student Center. Fee is $70 ($50 for students).
Those interested should register at the cashier’s window in the Ramsey Center. For additional information, contact Stephanie Brugler (sbrugler@arches.uga.edu).
