A stroll through the garden

http://www.uga.edu/~botgarden/

The Web site for the State Botanical Garden of Georgia opens with a dramatic fluttering butterfly who invites viewers to “click on the butterfly to visit the garden.”
The butterfly leads to a multi-level site. A colorful map offers an easy way to organize a virtual visit to the garden’s various garden areas, each illustrated by elegant photos. In the section on the rose garden, a viewer can even find out what the Cherokee rose-- Georgia’s state flower--looks like.
Viewers can learn about joining the garden, volunteering, renting garden facilities and making memorial gifts--and they can check an up-to-date calendar of workshops and events at the garden. Teachers and parents will be interested in the details of the Georgia Endangered Plants Stewardship Network, with information on how school classes can participate and learn.
