Hurricane relief
Colleagues at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., report that thousands of student apartments, along with homes of faculty and staff, were damaged or destroyed by flooding caused by Hurricane Floyd. ECU has set up a Family Relief Fund to accept contributions from those who wish to help.
Contributions will be used for small emergency grants, handled by the ECU offices of Student Life and Administration and Finance, and for larger grants to victims (as verified by United Way, the Red Cross, FEMA and the university). Assistance will be in the form of vouchers to be used for food, clothing, shelter, cleaning supplies, essential furniture, clothing, medical supplies, textbooks, other school supplies, and baby supplies.
To contribute, send a check or money order payable to ECU Family Relief Fund, 200 East First Street, Greenville NC 27858-4353.

Bulletin Board includes announcements from campus-based organizations whose membership includes UGA faculty and/or staff.
