Reception planned for retiring associate dean
A reception for Associate Dean of Education Donald O. Schneider will be held Nov. 29 at 4 p.m. at the Georgia Museum of Art. A teacher, scholar and administrator at UGA since 1968, Schneider will retire Dec. 31.
Schneider’s 31 years of service includes many administrative positions--head of the social science education department, coordinator of academic affairs in the associate dean’s office, acting associate dean, interim director of the school of teacher education and school director of teacher education. Most recently Schneider served as interim associate dean.
