Couch-Stone Symposium 2006

Dr. Patrick Williams and Michael Ramirez of the University of Georgia's Sociology Department welcome participants and visitors to the 2006 Couch-Stone Symposium, the annual winter meeting of the Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction. The Symposium will be held in the Tate and Student Learning Centers at The University of Georgia, the country's oldest state-chartered university, in Athens, GA on February 9-11, 2006. The Deparment of Sociology will welcome attendees with a reception Thursday evening from 7-9 pm. Afterward, we, with the help of some of our undergraduate and graduate students, will be happy to lead participants out to sample just a little of Athens local nightlife before the Symposium sessions begin, Friday at 8 am.
