Membership

Eligibility

To be a member of the team you must be a full-time undergraduate student (12hrs) or a graduate student (9hrs) at The University of Georgia. You must also have a suitable road or mountain bike and basic equipment. If you need new a new bike, or equipment we have sponsors who can help you get started. Students are eligible to join the club at any time during the school year. We encourage you to join at the beginning of the semester so that you have the opportunity to train with the team and compete in all of the races. We encourage all students to come to our group rides and become active participants in the club.

Dues

Club dues are $60.00 per year [not semester]. This money will cover all race entry fees, and all hotel accommodations throughout the season. In order to race you must pay your club dues. Please contact Matt Schneider to pay your club dues. Obligations As a member of UGACC you are expected to attend all club meetings, and participate in our volunteer and fundraising activities throughout the year. Though it is not required, we encourage you to attend the group rides and races. Benefits Members of UGACC receive special deals from all of our sponsors on cycling equipment and merchandise. Members are able to race at the collegiate level without paying for race entry fees or hotel rooms. Members have the opportunity to build relationships through cycling and be active participants in the community. How to Join Contact Ann Turner and attend our next meeting.
