Classic City What is Dawg Camp Classic City?

Classic City is a five-day program for about 10 incoming first-year students, sponsored by the Center for Leadership & Service and partially funded by a grant from the Parents & Families Association.  Together you will share in the adventure of teambuilding, learning how to get involved at UGA, and develop the leadership skills within you all through community service learning experiences. Classic City participants will learn all about the opportunities to get involved in the Athens and greater Clarke Country area.

Evening programming will explore the leadership development side of the participants.  Students will walk away with a greater appreciation for Athens and  knowledge of involvement opportunities both on- and off-campus.
