1998 Awards and Scholarships

The National Leadership Award
The National Leadership Award is the highest honor that members of the Delta Epsilon Iota National Honor Society may receive at the chapter level. In order to be eligible for the National Leadership Award, chapter members must show an overwhelming dedication to leadership, academics, and extracurricular activities at their college or university and within the local community.

The Academic Excellence Award
The Academic Excellence Award is one of the most coveted awards available to chapter members of the Delta Epsilon Iota National Honor Society. The Academic Excellence Award is an acknowledgment of exceptional academic performance. Each of the recipients this year has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average while attending the University of Georgia.

The Delta Achievement Award
 The Delta Achievement Award is given in recognition of high academic achievement and extracurricular activity. To be eligible for this award and scholarship, chapter members must demonstrate exceptional dedication to the local community, as well as to the college or university which they attend. They must also illustrate enthusiasm and initiative by participating in a wide variety of academic and social activities.
