What's going on with DGK:

March 20, 2008

Our next member meeting is next Wednesday, March 26th. We will be electing officers for next year, so if you're interested in running you must be present. And even if you're not, you should still be there to vote!

April 9th is the talent show put on by the Grady Ambassadors to benefit CASA. This will be our next social. The first 15 people to sign up will get in free!

All members need to pick up their t-shirts if they haven't already. We're selling the slightly-imperfect ones from the first go around to raise money for CASA. They are $5 and Rachel can tell you more about that. We will also be selling them at the talent show!

Come on out to VOTE on your officers next year! Wednesday, March 26th, at 7:00pm in SLC 207!

Thanks to everyone that showed up and helped start 2008 in an amazing way! Our meeting last night was a great success.

I just wanted to let all of you who might be last-minute-interested know that the deadline for Grady at Oxford applications is tomorrow, and there are still spots left. Check this out if you're interested.

If you couldn't make it to the meeting and are a paid member, you can email us and we can arrange for you to get it before next time.

January 23, 2008

The Smith/Biddle workshop meeting is TONIGHT in SLC 207 at 7:00pm. We'll also be passing out our super fly t-shirts!

January 14, 2008

Our first member meeting of the semester will be January 23rd. Be on the look out for e-mails with DGK in the subject line.

If you need to be added to the listserv, email Marie.

Doing well in all of your classes doesn't guarantee success after you graduate. Joining clubs like DiGamma Kappa will certainly help you if you want to go above and beyond everything you learn in a classroom.

We can connect you to professionals in the broadcast industry, we can help you write your resume, we can give you hands-on experience, we can tell you about classes and teachers that you'll have in Grady, we can find other clubs and organizations that may suit your needs, and we can teach you anything about broadcasting that you want to know. The officers are always available to help you, and if one of us can't answer your question- we'll find someone who can.
