How to Join
REQUIREMENTS:
Any student at UGA is eligible for membership. There are no academic requirements. We only require you to have an interest in the field of broadcasting (radio, TV, cable, film, Internet, etc.).Nothing in DGK is mandatory – you should come to meetings and activities because you want to! Keep in mind that the more you put into DGK, the more you get out of it.
If you are interested in joining, come to one of our meetings on any second or fourth Wednesday in Room 247 of the Student Learning Center. You can check the calendar for exact dates. Feel free to ask any of the officers questions, too!
DUES:
$40 per year or $25 per semester
Dues should be paid at least one week prior to the induction ceremony (October 2007).
Please turn in cash or checks (made payable to DiGamma Kappa) to our V.P. of Finance, Tashana Salmon.
What do you get in return? Dues include a t-shirt, food at meetings, workshops and programs, your ticket to the Georgia Associations of Broadcasters banquet, trips to Atlanta for studio tours of CNN and WSB, and much more!
