Committees Committees play an important role in a successful Marathon. Each Committee is run by a University of Georgia student and is made up of students who get the job done! From Finance to Public Relations, there are many important ways that students organize and run the Marathon, and it takes many helping hands to make it happen. Committee heads are selected in the spring each year, after the completion of the Marathon. In the fall, applications are available to become a part of each committee. Though committee members have already been selected for the 2003 Dance Marathon, there are still many other ways to help out. Dancers and volunteers are needed to really make the Marathon a success!
