Developmental Therapy - Teaching Programs offer education, training and technical assistance to expand and enhance the skills of educators and parents who shape the lives of infants, children and teens.
How can educators
learn to use Developmental Therapy-Developmental Teaching methods?
Professional development and technical assistance programs are available for individuals, public and private schools, childcare programs and other agencies serving troubled and troubling children and youth. Experienced staff certified in Developmental Therapy - Developmental Teaching provide consultation and inservice training, on-site through distance learning. Services incluce needs assessment, planning, program development, documentation of student progress, personnel training, leadership development, and parent/foster parent training.

What is the cost for Developmental Therapy - Teaching Programs' services? Developmental Therapy-Teaching Programs are supported through public and private funding from the University of Georgia Colleges of Education and Family & consumer Sciences, U.S. Department of Education, and private foundations. Local programs receiving training and technical assistance share in the cost through a one-time fee, purchase of materials, and travel expenses for the DT-TP instructor(s).  Costs are negotiated at the time the initial training agreement is finalized.
