Faculty-conducted reviews of UGA units offering academic programs occur on a seven-year cycle, providing a systematic means of assuring the continuous improvement of the University’s academic, research, and service programs. These reviews incorporate and build on related, ongoing processes such as annual reporting, learning outcomes assessment, strategic planning, accreditation review, and 5-year Program Planning.
Faculty oversight of Program Review is provided by the Program Review and Assessment Committee, which works in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
