UGA's Carnegie Classification
As of the 2005 Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, the University of Georgia is classified as a RU/VH: Research Universities (very high research activity). UGA is an institution that offers a wide range of baccalaureate programs and is committed to graduate education through the doctorate.
