• Go to www.usajobs.opm.gov
• Look at the job openings; Leave your horizons Broad because you can always say "no" later
• Usually, a recent graduate will select entry level professional positions; Be sure to record the announcement number of the job you are applying for; Use the OF-612 form to apply for Government Jobs, always send a Resume' (they also have a resume' building site on this website too), send a cover letter, and complete the KSA (Knowledge Skills and Abilities) section separately from the resume'.
• The KSA section on the Job listings contains the factors that they will use to rank you compared to other applicants; You want to be in the top 5%; Be sure to take some quality time preparing this section and be sure to regurgitate the language.
• Be sure to get involved in Professional Organizations, Volunteer Groups, have extra curricular activites/ hobbies...This gives you a way to make a "connection" with the hiring personnel, which he says is very important.
• Most of all, Be prepared and Be youself during the interview: Make sure you find out about the company that you are interviewing for prior to the interview.
• Mr. Cosgrove also said that we should keep him posted on our career goals. He would be happy to give references for any of us and/or accept our Resume's.

• Pecan sale will start in November and Marie is in charge of it; October 10th there will be a pecan talk for officers and flyers will be given to the departments.
• Discussion or ideas needed for activities, i.e. camping trip or trivia night.
• Sunbelt Expo will be October 16-18
• Our meetings will be the first Thursday of each Month...until further notice.
• Next adopt a highway is going to be October 14th. We will meet at the EPA building on College Station Rd at 2pm.
