Denim Day to raise awareness

UGA’s Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention office and peer educators will host Denim Day April 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Jittery Joe’s in the Miller Learning Center. It is an awareness day that protests common and damaging myths about sexual assault. Participants should wear jeans and will get a free accompanying sticker to show there is no excuse for sexual violence.

Baseball team to play series against Florida

The Diamond Dogs will play a series against the University of Florida this weekend at Foley Field. The games will be May 1 at 7 p.m., May 2 at noon and May 3 at 1 p.m.

Libraries sponsoring Paws and Relax
The UGA Libraries is offering students a chance to Paws and Relax with canine therapists on April 29, the first day of final exams, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held rain or shine at the main library, science library, Miller Learning Center, Aderhold Hall and the Ramsey Student Center.
