Botanical Garden to have family hike
The State Botanical Garden of Georgia will have its Family Hiking Club March 8 at 9 a.m. Participants should be prepared to hike up to 2 miles, and children must be at least 5 years old. The cost is $5 each, or $15 for a family.
Diamond Dogs host invitational
The baseball team will open its Bulldog Invitational March 7 with a 5 p.m. game against Buffalo at Foley Field. The Diamond Dogs will host North Florida March 8 at 1 p.m. and Western Carolina March 9 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $5 to $8.
Students to get spring break
The last day of classes before spring break will be March 7. No classes will be held March 10-14. Residence halls, except for Reed, Payne and East Campus Village, will close March 8 at noon. Campus Transit will operate its intersession service March 10-14. Food Services, except for the Village Summit, will be closed during spring break. Classes resume March 17.
