More than 2,100 UGA students are eligible to receive degrees today at fall Commencement ceremonies in Stegeman Coliseum. The undergraduate ceremony was held this morning and the graduate ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. It will be streamed live at www.ctl.uga.edu/ctlcable and on YouTube.

Garden to have full moon hike
The monthly full moon hike at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia will be Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. Each hike focuses on a different topic such as the moon, constellations or nocturnal creatures. Participants should meet at the Visitor Center and Conservatory fountain.
Women’s basketball team to host Kennesaw
The women’s basketball team will play Kennesaw State University Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are $5.
Performing Arts Center presents "The Nutcracker"
The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center will present the State Ballet Theatre of Russia in "The Nutcracker" Dec. 21-22 at the Classic Center Theatre. The holiday favorite will run for three performances, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. "The Nutcracker" performance is presented through a collaboration between the UGA Performing Arts Center and the Classic Center. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children.
