PAC to present ‘Messiah’


The Performing Arts Center will present a rare complete performance of Handel’s “Messiah” Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall featuring The Knights chamber orchestra from New York and the UGA Hodgson Singers along with four professional soloists. Tickets are $32-$47 with discounts for students.

Men’s basketball team to host Seton Hall


The men’s basketball team will host Seton Hall University Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are $15. ESPNU will televise the game.


Ballet Theatre of Russia to perform ‘Nutcracker'
The Performing Arts Center will present "The Nutcracker" performed by the State Ballet Theatre of Russia Dec. 20 at 4 and 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. at The Classic Center. Set to Tchaikovsky's beloved music, the production features the same authentic Russian choreography that is performed by Moscow's famous Bolshoi Ballet. Tickets are $15 to $35.
