Museum to discuss Chessé works
Carissa DiCindio, curator of education, will have an Artful Conversation about selected works in the exhibition “Ralph Chessé” Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Georgia Museum of Art.
Garden to have Full Moon Hike
The State Botanical Garden of Georgia will have a Full Moon Hike July 31 at 7 p.m. Participants should be prepared to hike up to 2 miles on wooded trails and in the garden. The cost is $5 or $15 per family.
Brass Choir to perform at Garden
The Athens Brass Choir will perform Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. This popular annual concert by brass musicians often includes classical music, marches and show tunes.
