During the summer of 1996 The University of Georgia served as the host site for Olympic Soccer, Volleyball and Rhythmic Gymnastics. During this Olympic period University Food Services served over 280,000 meals to Athletes, security personnel, support personnel, dignitaries, and campus visitors. The success of the Olympic experience was due to the dedication of the Food Services staff and many other employees at the University. This page is a tribute to their dedication to the University of Georgia.
