Working for UGA Food Services has always had its rewards, and for the 2006-2007 academic year, two new rewards have been added for student employees.
From the beginning REWARD
Start to work on or before August 16, the first day of fall semester classes, and get 15¢ more per hour.

Until the end REWARD
Continue to work until the end of the academic year and get another bonus of 15¢ for every hour worked.
In addition to these new rewards, Food Services offers many benefits to students — award-winning food and a friendly work environment are just a couple of them.
A free meal is provided for every four-hour shift you work. For meal plan patrons, a meal plan payment reimbursement is paid each semester for each completed shift. Base salary, before rewards, for Fall 2006 is $6.25 per hour. You will receive a paycheck every two weeks on Fridays. Student employees can also qualify for industry-sponsored scholarships.
Work schedules are compatible with course load and convenient work locations are within walking distance to all campus activities and residential facilities. In addition, Food Services provides managerial experience to students as a part of the student management team. You can earn real work experience to put on your resumé and a valuable reference for a job well done.
So why not work in a fun environment that gives you a chance to learn? You just might learn to cook, discover a new career path, and make lifelong friends in the process.
