The UGA Card is utilized by students for access into the meal plan dining centers. With state-of-the art biometric identification technology, the system verifies participants' legibility by the unique size and shape of each customer's hand. The identification process takes less than three seconds providing rapid access into the dining centers. Cards are obtained at the UGA CARD ID center, located next to the Information Desk at the Tate Student Center.

Access via keypad rather than swiping your UGA CARD is available at all the meal plan dining centers during regular service hours. Simply key in your 9 digit card # beginning with "8" plus the issue number (typically a 0 or 1). Late night access at Snelling Dining Commons between the hours of 12am and 7am requires the use of the UGA Card to gain access.
