Hillary Brown

Hillary Brown, editor, graduated from the University of Georgia summa cum laude with highest honors with a double major in English and comparative literature and a minor in history in 1996. She is currently enrolled part-time in the English PhD program there, with a concentration on Renaissance literature.

After graduation, she worked at Athens Blueprint and the Georgia Center for Continuing Education until 2006, when she was hired as editor at the Georgia Museum of Art. She also serves as art director and copyeditor of Knife & Fork, an eight-page monthly restaurant review newsletter focused on the Atlanta area with about 1600 subscribers; freelance copyedits for Guilford Press, a scholarly house that publishes a variety of educational and psychological texts; and writes about food and music for Flagpole magazine, the alternative newsweekly in Athens.
