Grants Program

Historic Landscape and Garden Grant Program
Guidelines and Application

Non-profits and local governments are eligible to apply for matching grants (50% Grant/50% Applicant) for the preservation of Georgia's historic gardens and landscapes. Maximum grant award is $3,000; cash match only. All projects must be completed within two years from the date the grant is awarded. Grants are competitive. Funding priority is given to gardens/landscapes listed in the Georgia Register of Historic Places, either individually or as part of a historic district. Gardens and landscapes must be open to the public. All project work must promote responsible preservation practices.

Applications are due before February 1 each year. Awards are announced at the Garden Club of Georgia Annual Convention in April.
