2010 Engagement Calendar: Expressions
Each year, GCG publishes a calendar which showcases floral designs created by very talented members throughout the state. From the applications received, a panel of Master Judges select the designs to be included in the calendar and determine who will be the "Calendar Arranger of the Year" and runner-up. Revenue raised from the sale of these calendars funds scholarships for deserving students attending Georgia colleges or universities and majoring in garden related fields. The desk size calendar is priced at $8.00 with the purse size at $6.00. Each district has a Calendar Marketing Chairman who promotes sales, takes orders and distributes the calendars at the Fall District Meetings.

GCG has produced an environmental education video and accompanying workbook for its "GEORGIA! Keep It Green and Clean" project. The eight-page litter workbook, aimed at 8-10 year olds, features eye-catching graphics and reader-friendly typography, providing hands-on activities and suggestions for participating in fun anti-litter solutions.  Nature's Melody—A Guide to Georgia Wildflowers
Garden Club of Georgia member Betty Benson is the author of this guide to native wildflowers, ferns, shrubs, trees, and vines in Georgia. The 7 x 10 inch book is softbound, has 226 pages and has 320 full-color photographs, four to a page. Georgia's endangered plants are also listed. This book, published in 1994, is an indispensable reference manual for field botanists and hobbyists.
