Whether this is your first GEAC Conference or you were there for the first
one in 1972, there is some- thing for every advancement pro- fessional at this
year’s conference.

At the conference closing breakfast on November 18, the GEAC membership will
select new officers as well as vote upon changes to the GEAC bylaws. Traditionally
the slate of proposed new officers is presented beforehand and voted upon by
the entire present GEAC membership during its annual open meeting.

Debuts New Web Presence
The GEAC newsletter has promised you a new and innovative web product for the
last year as the board has worked with designers, writers, and dozens of GEAC
members all over the state to create a web site that works well for everyone.
Meet
Incoming President Sloan Jones
Sloan Jones serves as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Gainesville
State College. She has been involved in GEAC since coming to Gainesville in
1992.
