This past fall Beta Delta celebrated our 126th year of existence on the University of Georgia campus. Throughout the years, none of this could have been accomplished without those who came before us.  Our alumni continue to be a vital influence on our chapter and the current class of undergraduates looks forward to maintaining and fostering this relationship in the future. Plans are already underway for the 2009 fall semester annual Alumni day. Although definitive plans have not been confirmed as of yet, our 2009 Alumni Day is tentatively scheduled for Saturday November 7, 2009, when the Georgia Bulldogs take on the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. This is the presumed 2009 homecoming date.  However, this date is subject to change pending upon the release of the 2009 football season dates by the Athletic Department of the University of Georgia. Information with a definitive schedule of the events for that Saturday will be issued well in advance, so that hopefully all of our Alumni can attend.
The men of Beta Delta would like to congratulate one of our own, Mr. Jody Danneman, Beta Delta Class of 1988. Mr. Danneman was most recently elected as the International Secretary of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. This is a tremendous honor for Mr. Danneman and his dedication and time to the fraternity should be held in the highest regard. Please join all of us in congratulating Mr. Danneman on this tremendous honor.
