What have you contributed to
Golden Key in the past month? I
attended the group meetings and helped
coordinate a fundraising event called the
Multicultural Variety Show for Pennies
for Patients, an organization that provides
financial support for patients with Leukemia
and other cancers and their families. We
had several belly dancing performances,
local musical artists, and an Indian hip hop
singer from New York named Shakti. In
addition to spreading awareness about
ways to help the patients and experiencing
other cultures, over $170 were raised for
the cause.
What other organizations are you
involved in around campus, if any?
Sigma Delta Pi (the National Honor
Society in Spanish) and Collegiate
Mirage (a belly dance troupe)
