Upholding the Carter family's tradition of service

UGA law student Jason Carter (in blue shirt at center, buying roasted maize), grandson of former president Jimmy Carter and wife Rosalynn, has been on the talk show circuit promoting his new book about his experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer in South Africa. Power Lines (National Geographic Society, 2002) focuses on Carter's host town of Lochiel, where he helped upgrade the educational system. See story here.
