Landrum named Senior VP






Tom Landrum
Tom Landrum (AB ’72, MA ’87) was named senior vice president for external affairs in December. Landrum held the post as an interim for a year. As SVPEA, Landrum oversees development, public affairs, alumni relations, financial services, government relations, the career center and special events. Landrum has been with UGA since 1976, starting work as an information specialist and special events planner in the public relations office. He has served as assistant director of public relations for publications, director of public relations, executive assistant to the vice president for development and university relations, assistant to the president, and executive assistant to the president and chief of staff. He succeeds Steve Wrigley, now vice president for government relations and director of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, in the position.
