The Civil Rights Digital Library
(http://crdl.usg.edu) is a portal providing a virtual library of Web-based materials documenting America’s struggle for racial equality. The site accesses primary materials, including a collection of news film held by the Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection at the UGA Libraries, and secondary materials like lesson plans and encyclopedia articles. CRDL is a partnership among librarians, technologists, archivists, educators, scholars, academic publishers and public broadcasters.
