The emphasis of this site is on GPS mapping of landscape features, particularly in urban environments. The Georgia Urban Tree Mapping Projects page showcases the current projects conducted by volunteers and students associated with the University of Georgia. The Tree Inventory Training page provides training resources, including copies of power points used in the training sessions, and "how to" guides for those conducting inventory projects.The On-line Tutorial Resources page contains links to access tutorials provided by the manufacturers, such as ESRI and Trimble, for the software and hardware used by this department.
