Help build leaders through Greek Life

You can make a positive impact on the future of Greek Life at UGA. We need the support of alumni, parents, and friends of UGA to help us continue to create and sustain leadership development programs that mold UGA Greek students into leaders. Your support is needed to operate programs like the following:

Give to Greek Life

The Sophomore Leaders’ Circle

A select leadership development program for second year Greek students that focuses on leadership skills such as networking, conflict management, and integrity to better prepare future Greek leaders. This program provides students with the necessary leadership skills to deal with adversity and challenges and represent their respective chapters and the University of Georgia in a positive manner. Students who complete this program are ready to assume individual chapter and council leadership responsibilities. Additional plans include program expansion to include first year students.

The Presidents Leadership Institute

A three-day program that educates 60 fraternity and sorority chapter presidents on leadership skills that will help them be successful at dealing with complex issues. Topics would include goal setting, minimizing risks, dealing with adversity, and leading with integrity and core ethical values.

Safety in Sisterhood

This program is sorority specific. Good health and personal safety under the “wellness umbrella” are necessities for our sorority women. Monies will ensure each and every group is providing comprehensive programming in all areas of wellness for their members.

Greek Accelerator

Accelerator is a new program for Juniors and Seniors to connect with Greek alumni willing to serve as mentors as these students as they begin their career searches. Help our Greek students continue to have the competitive edge through structured networking interactions in specific disciplines.

Greek Ambassador Program (GAP)

GAP MembersMembers of the Greek Ambassador Program

GAP is a new initiative designed to positively promote Greek Life on the University’s campus to prospective students, faculty, staff, and the Athens community. Ambassadors serve as official representatives of Greek Life, serving as hosts and hostesses, to provide educational support to University-wide recruitment efforts and campus visitations.
