Chanticleer to perform in Hodgson Hall
Chanticleer, which The New Yorker called “the world’s reigning male chorus,” will perform Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall. Winner of multiple Grammy Awards, Chanticleer is known as “an orchestra of voices” for the seamless blend of its 12 male voices and its original interpretations of vocal literature. Tickets are $25 to $45.
Women’s basketball team to host USC
The women’s basketball team will play the University of South Carolina Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are $5, or $3 for youths. The SEC Network will televise the game.
Theatre staging ‘A Lesson Before Dying'
The University Theatre will present "A Lesson Before Dying," adapted to the stage by Romulus Linney from the acclaimed novel by Ernest J. Gaines and directed by George Contini. Performances will be held in the Seney Stovall Chapel Feb. 3-8 at 8 p.m. with a matinee Feb. 8 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for the general public and $7 for students.
