Summit to focus on arts and culture businesses

The first Local Arts and Culture Business Summit will be held April 17 at 11:30 a.m. in the Reception Hall at Tate Student Center. A panel of local arts and culture business owners will share their experiences, best practices and advocate for the best ways to support local arts entrepreneurs in the future. The event is part of Thinc. Entrepreneurial Week.

Baseball team to play at Florida

Symphony Orchestra to perform in Hodgson Hall
The UGA Symphony Orchestra will present its final concert of the academic year April 17 at 8 p.m. in Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall. The performance will feature "In the South," Edward Elgar's love letter to the Italian countryside, as well as Johannes Brahms' powerful "German Requiem," showcasing the Hugh Hodgson School of Music Choral Ensembles. Tickets are $10, or $5 for UGA students.
