Design showcase at University of Georgia Gwinnett Campus highlights students’ multimedia projects
Graduate students in the learning, design and technology program at the University of Georgia Gwinnett Campus will present a Studio Showcase highlighting their multimedia projects on Dec. 1. The showcase, co-sponsored by the Atlanta chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement, will feature individual instructional technology projects as well as a joint volunteer service project for the National Gardening Association.
Morehead named senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at UGA
Jere W. Morehead, vice president for instruction and the Meigs Professor of Legal Studies at UGA, will succeed
Arnett C. Mace Jr., who will retire on Jan. 1, 2010.
Bettandorff, Kalivoda to attend National Leadership Forum
Ruth Bettandorff, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of UGA’s Gwinnett Campus, and Trish Kalivoda, associate vice president for public service and outreach, have been invited to take part in the annual National Leadership
Forum sponsored by the American Council on Education's Office of Women in Higher Education. The forum will be held
June 17-19 in Washington, D.C.
New director named for UGA's Gwinnett Campus
A new director for University of Georgia graduate and continuing education programs offered in Gwinnett has been named.
Ruth Bettandorff, who has served as associate director for learning services at UGA’s Center for Continuing Education
Conference Center and Hotel since 2004, will succeed Janet Sandor, who retired in December.
UGA has largest student body in history with fall enrollment of 34,180
Spurred by growth at two of its extended campuses, the University of Georgia has its largest student body in history this fall with an enrollment of 34,180.
