History Computer Lab

Student Services

Computer Services

The History Department and the University of Georgia offer a variety of computer and software services to our undergraduate and graduate students. From the History computer lab on the Main Floor of LeConte Hall to graduate student offices equipped with desktop computers, printers, and campus network access, our services support student research, interests and activities.

The History Department Computer Lab

The computer lab offers a wide variety of software and peripherals for student use. The lab does not have a regular schedule. All students must sign in with a lab assistant in order to enter and use lab facilities. Students may be required to show their UGA student ID or to have their history course enrollment verified by a lab assistant. The lab is open to undergraduate students when a lab assistant is available. Otherwise, the lab is open only to graduate students during off hours.

Printing services include color, black and white, and transparencies. Prices for printing are posted in the lab. Blank CDs, DVDs, and diskettes are also available in the lab for a fee. Students are required to adhere to UGA and History Department computer policies. If you have a problem with printing or other issues in the lab, please see a lab assistant. The lab will be staffed at all open hours. The computer lab is open on a limited basis.
