Support the Department of History in the Manner That Suits You Best . . .

•  The Department of History Discretionary Fund (Fund # 50-R6930) supports our overall academic program and functions.

•  The Emory Thomas Fellowship in History (Fund #40-S4560) supports graduate students in history.

•  The Thomas Pleasant Vincent Sr. History Scholarship (Fund # 30-F4730) assists an outstanding graduate student with an interest in Georgia history.

•  The Warner-Fite Scholarship in History (Fund # 40-S8490) assists an outstanding graduate student in American history.

•  The Horace Montgomery Graduate Fellowship (Fund #40-S5590) assists an outstanding graduate student in history.

•  The Phyllis Barrow Scholarship Fund (Fund #40-S9720) pays for a scholarship for an outstanding senior history major.

•  The Alf Andrew Heggoy Memorial Fund (Fund # 40-S9390) makes possible one or two annual awards to recognize outstanding student achievement. These awards may be given to an undergraduate, to a graduate student, or to both. Funds from the Heggoy Fund may also be used to pay for student travel.

•  The LeConte Memorial Research Award (Fund # 40-A0360) makes possible financial support of an outstanding research project by a history faculty member.

•  The Linda J. Piper Award for Study Abroad (Fund # 40-A0550) provides scholarships for undergraduates and graduate students in the Departments of History and Classics who wish to pursue their studies overseas.
