TRAVEL |
|
| The State of Georgia Accounting Offices has made changes to the Statewide Travel Regulations which became effective October 1, 2006. The University’s Policy & Procedure are driven by these regulations and have been updated to include these changes. The complete travel policy and procedure can be found here. | |
The electronic form will perform all calculations and can then been printed, approved and attached to either a paper or electronic check request for submission to Accounts Payable. The new form includes a “calculate expenses” function that should be used once all expenses have been entered and a “print travel expense” function that will produce the proper format. Also, by using the new online travel reimbursement form, travelers exceeding the per diem limits for meals and lodging are no longer required to submit a separate letter of justification. The new online form includes space to enter the justification directly on the form avoiding the letter and separate approval signature.Questions regarding this new online travel reimbursement form or other travel questions should be directed to Jennifer Collins via email at jfinch@uga.edu. |
