Ari Daniel Levine has written two chapters for volume 5 of the Cambridge History of China, published in 2009. His book Divided by a Common Language: Factional Conflict in Late Northern Song China was published by University of Hawaii Press in 2008.He is currently working on a second book project on urban space and cultural memory in Song-dynasty Kaifeng.
