Welcome to the OFFICIAL website of the COLLEGE HOCKEY SOUTH (CHS). CHS was formed in 1981 (originally named the Southern Collegiate Hockey Association) to facilitate fair and organized intercollegiate hockey competition at universities and colleges, and to promote collegiate hockey in the Southern United States. CHS is a Division III member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), where teams compete annually for a national championship.

The 2003-2004 CHS hockey season featured a 6 team conference format. The CHS league members are; University of Florida Gators, University of Georgia Bulldogs, University of Central Florida Knights, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Eagles, University of South Florida Bulls, & the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles. The 2003-2004 CHS schedule featured a 15 game schedule per team, where teams faced-off against every team 3 times throughout the regular season. The top 4 teams will advanced to the 2004 CHS playoffs (Georgia, South Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, & Embry-Riddle), held February 20-22nd, 2004 at J.P. Igloo in Ellenton, Florida.
