graduation requirements
Requirements for Graduation with Honors A total of nine Honors courses is required. Academic courses must be three or four credit hours each and graded A-F. Three one-credit hour HONS courses (S/U graded) may be used to satisfy one Honors academic course; this is limited to one academic course substitution. At least three of the nine courses must be upper division (3000 level or higher). These courses can be selected from Honors sections, Honors Option, Directed Research/Thesis/Internship, or graduate-level courses (6000 level or higher). Grade Point Averages A minimum 3.3 Honors GPA and minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA are required for graduation with Honors. Requirements for Graduation with High or Highest Honors A total of nine Honors courses is required in addition to the 6-9 credits of “Capstone” coursework. Academic courses must be graded A-F and carry three or four credit hours each. (Three one-credit hour HONS courses [S/U graded] may be used to satisfy one Honors academic course; this is limited to one academic course substitution.) At least three of the nine courses must be upper division (3000 level or higher). These courses can be selected from Honors sections, Honors Option, Directed Research/Thesis/Internship, or graduate level courses (6000 level or higher). The Capstone coursework is required in addition to the required nine academic courses; no course can count as both a regular Honors course and a capstone course. Complete one of the following: 1.
