Each fall semester, the Honors Program hosts the Honors Convocation for first-year Honors students. Convocation serves as our welcome to students and signals the beginning of the Honors First-Year Experience. Students are officially welcomed by the Director of Honors and have the opportunity to meet Honors Teaching Assistants and Honors staff in an informal setting.

All first-year students, provided they do not have an academic or university athletic commitment, are expected to attend. Students with these conflicts should notify their HTAs and complete a make-up assignment.
