The Honors International Scholars Program provides opportunities for second- and third-year honors students to engage in international study or internships by offering 25-30 scholarships per year, ranging from $2500 to $5000. Awards are merit-based, and the amount of each award will depend upon program costs, individual financial needs, and overall resources available. Some awards are earmarked for travel to Asia, Latin America, and Africa. However, a limited number of awards may be given to students representing a diverse range of locations and interests, including service, research, and first-time travel abroad.
Applications are available to interested students in late August. The application deadline is in November, and award winners are announced in early December. For further information, contact Maria de Rocher in the Honors Program.
