| Complete the CURO-AP application. |

| You are accepted and register for the Honors Research Forum (HONS 1990H). |
|
| August |
| Arrive on campus and meet with the CURO-AP staff and interview with faculty research sponsors to find a research project that interests you. |

| September/October/November |
| Begin working on your research project, learning what it means to be a researcher at the University of Georgia, from your faculty mentor, your peers, and research forum and readings. |
|
| December |
| Second-year students work with their faculty research mentors on their abstracts and applications to participate in the CURO Symposium. (This is optional for first-year apprentices.) |
|
| January |
| Second-year and participating first-year students submit their abstracts for the CURO Symposium, and all apprentices investigate summer research and internship possibilities. |
|
| February/March |
Continue to acquire new skills and knowledge through working on your research project.
|
|
| April |
Having developed expertise on your research project, you are now ready to
participate in and support your fellow apprentices at the CURO Symposium.
