Academic advising Buoyed by the success of an introductory program launched in Brumby and Creswell Halls in 1999, the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences has expanded its partnership with the Department of University Housing through creation of full time academic advising offices in Russell and Rutherford Halls. The results have been outstanding, with over 2,000 students currently take advantage of this convenient arrangement per semester! Students pursuing degrees through the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences can complete all mandatory academic advising in one of these four offices. The advising staff can also provide students with access to life-enriching co-curricular activities. Click here for more information about scheduling academic advising through the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in the residence halls. Students enrolled in the Honors Program can also complete their academic advising within a residence hall; as part of the package of support services offered through the Honors Magnet program, the University of Georgia Honors Program maintains a satellite office in Myers Hall to provide academic advising and support students' other academic pursuits. |
