One World Multicultural Community

Housed in Oglethorpe House, the One World Multicultural Residential Community is a program designed to build awareness and appreciation for the highly interconnected campus, community, nation and world in which students live. University of Georgia faculty and staff members will help guide participants through the process of building a meaningful community with connections that stretch across traditional cultural boundaries. Typical activities include:

• Individual and group coaching and mentoring
• Dinners, retreats and/or workshops
• Involvement in and development of multicultural activities
• Participation in University programs and sponsored events
• Cross-campus and intercommunity interaction and dialogues

The One World Multicultural Residential Community is limited to just 30 upper class residents. Roommates do not have to be enrolled in the One World Community.
